How long will it take from the time I confirm my order and pay a deposit until my blinds/soft furnishings/awnings are installed?

The time varies depending on the type of blind, soft furnishing, awning or shutter you have ordered. Generally, internal blinds take between 2-3 weeks from confirmation of order and receipt of deposit to installation, soft furnishings and external blinds take between 4-6 weeks from confirmation of order and receipt of deposit to installation, and shutters take between 6-8 weeks from confirmation of order and receipt of deposit to installation (subject to availability of fabrics/materials and componentry). We will provide you with our best estimate of installation timeframes at the time of quoting.

Who will install my new blinds/awnings?

Your new blinds/awnings will be installed by one of our experienced installers. Given our staff are involved in the design and manufacture of the products we sell, they have first hand knowledge of your new product. As such, they are the best people to see your job through to completion.

What safety provisions do you make for corded products?

Custom Made Blinds adhere to State and Commonwealth regulations relating to safety in corded internal window coverings. We will ensure all cords and chains are fitted with approved safety cleats where required.

What warranty do you provide for blinds and awnings?

Warranty periods and inclusions vary from product to product and different warranties apply to fabrics, componentry, motors and the manufactured product. Warranty details can be provided at the time of quoting.

How do I clean and maintain my blinds or awnings?

Fabrics and components are generally best cleaned with a mild soapy solution. Specific cleaning instructions for your product can be provided on request. Detailed instructions for use, care and maintenance are provided with our internal and external products.

Can you re-cloth my existing blinds/awnings?

Yes, we can re-cloth existing blinds and awnings. A wide range of fabrics are available from which you can choose a suitable replacement.

Can you motorise my existing manually-operated blind/awning?

Yes, most blinds and awnings can be motorised. Speak to one of our consultants about motorisation options.

Do you have blind solutions for unusual or irregular window shapes?
