Automatic sun blinds

Manually operated on galvanised or stainless steel guide rods with standard 300mm arms (different sizes available on request), automatic sun blinds can be stopped at any position on the window and are ideal for ground floor applications. The design of the automatic sun blind enables awning (wind out) windows to remain open when the blind is down, allowing airflow and ventilation. They are fitted with a Colorbond pelmet.

Fixed guide blinds

Similar to automatic sun blinds with galvanised or stainless steel guide rods, fixed guide blinds are ideal for first floor installations and can be motorised or cord and pulley operated from the inside or outside of your home. They are fitted with a Colorbond pelmet. Fixed guide blinds are also ideal where a straight or vertical drop is required rather than a blind that projects outwards. For ground level applications, these blinds can be manually operated under spring tension or with a gear and crank handle.

Spring-tensioned blinds

An alternative to the above options, these blinds are operated manually under spring-tension and are available with or without side guides.

Crank-operated verandah blinds

These blinds feature a gear box and are operated by crank handle (rather than rope and pulley or spring). When in use, the blind can be strapped down and wound up slightly to tension the fabric, ensuring minimal movement of the blind in windy conditions.

Veue blinds

The Veue suite of external blinds is designed to complement Acmeda's Zipscreen blinds. The suite comprises wire guide, channel guide, straight drop and pivot arm systems. Veue blinds are suitable for a variety of external shading applications including sliding windows and doorways and undercover areas.

Pivot / drop arm awnings

Pivot arm awnings, also known as drop arm or spring arm awnings, offer great functionality for sun control, privacy and view whilst allowing airflow. Our range of pivot / drop arm awnings includes the Hunter Douglas System 2000 pivot arm awning, the Italia full cassette spring arm awning, and the Italia spring arm awning (without cassette box). Pivot / drop arm awings may be motorised or operated manually with a gear and crank handle, rope or winch.

Fixed / infill panels

Fixed panels are an ideal solution for screening / enclosing areas where an operable blind is either impossible or not required, such as the top of pitched head structures. Panels can be made in canvas, acrylic, screen mesh or PVC fabric and are fitted with powdercoated rope tracking in a wide range of colours. Fixed panels are a perfect add-on when enclosing an alfresco area.
